Becoming a Volunteer

There are many opportunities to serve at yogaHOPE. Although our volunteer teachers are the backbone of our programs, it is not necessary that volunteers have the ability to teach yoga. The following are roles you might consider:

Teachers
Volunteer to assist or teach our wonderful women. If your time is limited you can also sign up to be a mentor to one of our women or a yogaHOPE ambassador. For more information please go to the teacher section of the website and download an application.

General Office Work
Use your attention to detail to help us with typing and data entry, filing, and completing mailing jobs.

Web Development and Graphic Design
Use your HTML programming and web graphics expertise to help us with development and maintenance of the yogaHOPE website and other PR materials.

Project Management
Use your organizational skills to help us with all aspects of planning and coordination of special yogaHOPE events and projects.

Fundraising & Development
Help us with special fundraising events, as well as with planning and coordinating our Annual Campaign efforts and cultivating relationships with long-terms community supporters.

Board Membership
Help us with higher level strategic and financial planning.

Grant Proposal & Copy Writers
We are seeking grant/copy writers to assist us in drafting letters of inquiry and mini proposals to local funders for start up seed money.
